![]() ![]() ![]() The action of chlorophyll in plants is complex. Now, as we all know, chlorophyll is what makes leaves green and CI 75810 is a copper that has been derived from it. Separately, ilike’s serum lists CI 75810 (Chlorophyll). Research studies in humans have found that damage to DNA by aflatoxin can be decreased as much as 55% through supplementation with chlorophyllin. The creeper contains an unusually high amount of chlorophyll, which is an antioxidant. What was this doing here? Since parthenocissus inserta is considered to be an invasive species in Hungary, it is fortunate that ilike has found a good use for it. Even more exciting was the discovery that parthenocissus inserta is Virginia creeper. For example, ilike’s Organic Wrinkle Eliminator Serum ($88) is full of botanicals that I hadn’t heard of, or even if I had (like pansy) had no idea what they might do in anti-wrinkle cream.Īs it happens, pansy extract – the second ingredient in Wrinkle Eliminator after aloe – is used to control acne thanks to antibacterial properties, as well as eczema. When I started to look closely at ilike’s products, I immediately realized that its selection of extracts makes many other natural products look as special as a bouquet bought at a corner deli. But even Estee Lauder has its token botanicals, so I wondered if ilike could claim to have the cream of the crop. These are the resources that ilike draws on for its organic skin care range. Hungary is known for its thermal hot springs along the Carpathian Ridge and they help enrich the soil with trace minerals to produce an abundance of fruit, vegetables and herbs. I have often wondered if this came about as a result of all those years behind the Iron Curtain, forcing Hungarians to come up with novel solutions while the West was buying Estee Lauder. ![]() For some reason, Hungary has always been a leader in skin care treatments and, in particular, botanical ingredients. I was tipped off about ilike Organic Skin Care by my esthetician Ildi Pekar, which is not surprising since they are both Hungarian. ![]()

![]() (note: Success mode is the mode which Power Pro Series create original players). Unlike the Japanese installments, My Life mode is not placed in this installment, but it has an ability editor which Japanese version never had, due to the importance and popularity of success mode in Japan. ![]() The player will train their character in numerous games while dealing with other social situations such as the character's academics, teammate Marvin, and gaining a part time job. The story-based Success Mode, which has been a regular element in the Japanese series (main series) since the third release, mixes traditional role playing elements with baseball scenarios, following the player as he starts from a college baseball player with the goal of becoming a Major League player. Players may also play exhibition mode with two players, or can watch a game against two teams with the computer controlling both teams and take the role of a spectator. There are options for a day game or night game, number of innings, what stadium to play at, lineup selection etc. In this mode, players may play a baseball game against a Major League team. Maximum playtime is 10 years, or the team points run out and you lose (game over). The player will have control over all the aspects of the team, including training players, purchasing better equipment, and trading players between teams. Within the former, the player takes the role of a General Manager of a Major League Baseball team, with the goal of winning the World Series. The game contains over a dozen gameplay modes, including a Season Mode and a Success Mode. There’s not too much in the way of basic aspect cards in the deck. You could easily swap him out for whatever the scenario calls for. The last ally spot is a bit of a flex, as Sunfire only costs 2, has 2 Attack and can chump block, but also has a real handy ability for some of those more annoying villains (looking at you, Sabretooth). Psylocke is there to give some much-needed relief in Alter-ego turns. Being able to increase the damage dealt to much higher proportions can lead to some great turns removing as much as 10+ threat off the main scheme.įinally, adding in Hall of Heroes then lets us capitalise on killing minions with some much needed card draw. As we’re also trying to keep the threat on the main scheme down whilst also pounding minions, Into the Fray is a no-brainer. Gambit can struggle a bit with resources, so getting a free ally out who also fuels the deck is perfect! Looking for trouble does the same thing in digging out those minions but also helps us keep that threat down on the main scheme. I’ve added Angela and a couple of copies of Looking for Trouble in for some insurance. Now, this deck works wonderfully with minion heavy decks, but it’s not always a sure fire thing. To add to this, I’ve forgone the usual The Power of Aggression and added Aggressive Energy instead, as this deals extra damage when paying for Aggression events. Both add extra damage to these multi-damage events, and being able to trigger both at once can lead to some incredibly powerful attacks. The next, and obvious, cards to add are Warrior Skill and Honed Technique. Both have been fantastic in Ms Marvel, and work well here with Remy’s charges. The first cards added were One by One and Melee. Amassing these also makes his ally Rogue cheaper, and pound for pound, she’s one of the best allies in the game (decent stats, Toughness and being able to be played for free? Yowzah).Ĭharged Card and Royal Flush also play off these charges, and the later’s multi-attack is where we will lean further into the Aspect cards. There are several ways of gaining these charges, through his Hero action, Molecular Acceleration resource card and Natural Agility (this particular card playing well with Gambit's Guild Armor to let him defend with his naturally high Defence and potentially ready up for another defence). Having seen his hero kit, with his Charge de Card ability, and other means of adding card charges to him I thought he would be akin to Ms Marvel in that he wants to play multi-attack events to capitalise on this ability. It’s the later that I’ve decided to focus on. ![]() What has struck me most is that Gambit’s deck doesn’t do just one thing, and it sort of pulls in a few different directions I could easily see myself playing him in Protection, Justice or Aggression. Gambit, the Ragin’ Cajun, and all-round stud is here! I havn't been this excited for a character in a long time. Edit: publishing a second version as the first one had a couple of incorrect cards and amendments to the deck that needed making, and as there’s no way to delete published decks…Īt long last! However the power obtains the tag for the purpose of interacting with other spells and effects. The Ensign Ful-Vue box camera (pictured below) has what is optically a brillliant finder on the top, but this is sufficiently large as to give the impression of a twin-lens reflex camera (such cameras are sometimes called 'pseudo-TLRs').Īn older version is the small cubic Watson finder with lens and mirror as in the brilliant finder, but with a matte screen for viewing the finder image, sometimes hooded.Ī special version was the Sellar finder which consisted just of a concave mirror (which gives a reflected view reduced in size so that only a small mirror is needed) with targeting aid, to help the user position their eye to give the correct view. Brilliant finders are usually very small - perhaps 1 - 2 cm across - but exceptions exist. The brilliant finder is the most widespread of such finders, a combination of a lens, a mirror at a 45 degree angle behind that lens, and another lens at right angle position to the first one to view the mirrored image from the top. The view in them is reversed left-to-right. Finders of these types are not always easy to use with precision, but they were cheap, compact and easy to add to a folding camera's front standard or folding bed, or into the housing of a box camera.
